Two-story stairwell hung and finished around a spiral staircase — staging required throughout.

Kitchen walls and ceiling painted after cabinet install, edges cut in by hand.

Bedroom repaint over patched walls — floors fully covered, two finish coats.

Attic conversion — sloped ceilings and knee walls hung, taped and skim coated.
Before and after
A finished drywall repair by J&B Drywall & Paint should be impossible to locate once it is primed and painted. The comparisons below show the same wall or ceiling opened to the framing and then rebuilt flush, taped, feathered wide and texture matched to the surface around it. Drag the divider to compare.

What we do

01
Hanging, taping and finishing for additions, basements, whole-home builds and gut renovations.
Includes cathedral and sloped ceilings, archways, bullnose corners and level 5 smooth finishes.

02
Water damage, cracks, nail pops, holes from plumbing or electrical access, and failed old patches.
We cut back to solid board, rebuild flush, then match the surrounding texture so the patch disappears.

03
Scraping off popcorn and heavy texture, then skim coating walls and ceilings flat and smooth.
Full containment and floor protection, plus priming so the new surface is ready for paint.

04
Walls, ceilings, trim, doors and cabinetry, with patching and caulking done before any paint opens.
Hand-cut lines, two finish coats, and the room put back the way we found it at the end of each day.

05
Siding, trim, soffits, decks and railings — washed, scraped, sanded and spot-primed before coating.
Coatings picked for New England weather and applied inside the manufacturer's temperature range.
How a job runs
Tell us what the job is and where it is. We answer the same day and ask the questions that decide whether it is a two-day patch or a three-week build.
We measure, check the existing surfaces, and flag anything that needs to happen before drywall or paint — moisture, framing, old textures, access.
You get the scope in writing: what is included, what is not, the materials and the schedule. The price does not move unless the scope does.
Floors and fixtures covered before anything starts. Same crew from first day to last, working the schedule we agreed to, cleaning up at the end of each day.
We go through the job with you under real light, mark anything you want changed, and fix it before we ask for final payment.
The paperwork
Service area
Most of these are places J&B has already finished jobs; a few are towns close to the shop that we cover but have not worked in yet. If your town is not listed, call — we travel throughout New Hampshire and Maine.
The underlined towns have their own page. Where we have not worked in a town yet, that page says so plainly and shows real jobs from nearby towns instead.
Free estimate
Send the details and we will get back to you the same day with next steps and a time to walk the job. Estimates are free and in writing, with the scope, materials and schedule stated before anything starts.
